Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the nature of the product, subscription, implementation, or custom service purchased.
Subscription Cancellation
Customers may discontinue future subscription periods according to the notice period applicable to their plan or agreement.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewal and does not automatically create a refund for a subscription period that has already started.
Custom Development Cancellation
Custom development involves planning, resource allocation, development time, and project-specific work.
If a customer cancels a custom project after commencement:
- Work already completed remains chargeable
- Approved third-party costs remain payable
- Allocated implementation effort may be chargeable
- Completed deliverables may be handed over according to the agreement
- Any remaining balance or refund will be calculated according to completed work and contractual terms
Implementation & Configuration Charges
Implementation, configuration, consultation, migration, training, and setup charges relate to work already performed and are generally non-refundable once that work has commenced.
Advance Payments
Advance payments may be adjusted against work performed, resources allocated, licenses purchased, infrastructure provisioned, or other committed costs.
Any eligible balance will be determined according to the applicable commercial agreement.
Third-Party Charges
Payments made toward third-party services may be non-refundable where Jyotiba IT Solutions has already incurred the cost.
Examples may include:
- Domain registration
- SSL certificates
- Paid APIs
- Messaging services
- Third-party licenses
- Payment gateway charges
- Cloud or infrastructure services
- External software subscriptions
Third-party refund conditions are governed by the respective provider.
Refund Evaluation
Where a refund request is applicable, it will be reviewed based on:
- Services already delivered
- Work completed
- Resources committed
- Third-party expenses
- Contractual milestones
- Outstanding customer obligations
No refund should be assumed unless specifically supported by the relevant agreement or confirmed in writing.
Service Closure
Before closing a hosted service, customers should request any required data export within the applicable retention period.
Data handling after closure will follow the Cloud & Data Policy and applicable agreement.
